Stuffy Bio:
Jordan Epp received his undergraduate degree in Film & Video Production from the University of Regina in 2000 with a minor in Film Studies. Funded through Provincial and National Council’s for the Arts, Jordan worked independently in documentary film production before following his wife to Australia in 2003. While down under, Jordan attended the Australian Film, Television and Radio School where he received certification as an on-set Camera Assistant and Adobe After Effects user. Upon his return to Canada in 2005, Jordan began working for the Division of Media and Technology (now eMAP) here on the UofS campus. Jordan’s role quickly grew to include all forms of media and television production as it relates to educational delivery. In 2007 Jordan produced and directed an eight part documentary series for the Saskatchewan Communications Network (SCN) entitled The Creative City. Jordan’s interest in educational delivery systems grew to inspire him to begin a Master’s program at the University of Saskatchewan in Educational Technology and Communications. Jordan completed this program in 2009 and received his MEd. Research into new and innovative forms of content delivery keeps Jordan busy between his full time position as an Instructional Designer at CCDE, playing guitar in a classic rock cover band, building custom motorcycles, wrenching on a 1963 Chevy Biscayne and spending time with his wife and four year old son.
